building bridges and wheeler farm

we learned about the golden gate bridge.  checked out a bunch of books, watched some documentaries, then we made a bridge out of popsicle sticks, cardstock, pipecleaners and salt dough.  anna loved it.  Julia napped.
This morning was grey and cold: we went to dance class at the library.
This afternoon was beautiful: we went to Wheeler Farm.
The geese flocked to us, the girls were terrified.  So was I!  Those things are bigger (and possibly meaner) than Julia!
The treehouse was nice and dry.  Everything else was muddy and poop puddle-y
Julia is still terrified of cows, horses, pigs and geese.  But she loved the goats this time.  She's waving to the goat here and saying HI GOAT!
Anna watched the turkeys for a long while, waiting for them to gobble.
Then we went over the bridge and just walked and walked.  my goal was to go the grocery store.  we didnt' make it because I chose to let them doddle.
 doddling.
more doddling.

then we had to dance in the barn house.  we do this every time we go.  its quiet enjoyable.  But today I was annoyed because I was HUNGRY and needed to go to the store to get food.  But anyways, this movie is on the tail end of the dancing and all that walking, so anna's moves are less than what they usually are.  I love how Julia copies.
