vernal saturday

rich and i spent the morning at the temple, then we visited blake and julia bell (who live outside of denver).  after that we went for a walk in cody's field (across the street from the buhler house).  the girls came along because rich told them we were pheasant hunting.  the girls didn't seem to mind that we didn't have any guns with us.
it was a beautiful, warm and uncharacteristically nice day for thanksgiving in vernal.
look at these cuties!  what a good shot!
you can see i took a bunch of pics and only one turned out ok.  these girls.  we went to the school after to play.  we played hide and seek.  when we got the playground julia decided to take off her shoes and got a foot full of pokers when she stepped into a pokey bush.  then she peed her pants.  then rich took her home (he was glad because there was a football game on).  anna and i stayed.  she made some friends with some local kids.

after we got back rich and i went christmas shopping for the girls.  we bought candy canes, glitter crayons, smelly markers and some junky stuff from the dollar store.  now im trying to decide if I should get them more duplos or a doll house.

white friday

these pictures are really light!  hence white friday.  we took down our giant turkey and made a paper chain out of it.  we put up 2 trees and decorated them.
then julia did some bowling with a wood nativity and an ornament.
we drove to the buhlers.  julia slept most of the way (a long overdue nap).  rich had to work by the way, so i didn't do any shopping.  i wanted to buy the girls a dollhouse.
anna was so excited to get out the christmas books.  she read them most of the morning, then brought some to read on the way.  she believes in santa.
anna nad julia reading in aunt joy's bed in vernal.  i thought joy would approve of them reading in her bed.

thanksgiving day

a friend gave us a few bags of 5T clothes.  the girls went wild.  it took most of the morning to get them cleaned up.  early in the morning we did a little run with some neighbors.
anna in a dress up coloring on her dresser (in a coloring book)
julia putting on yet another outfit
oh anna, she is adoring a picture of aunt joy's sparkly christmas tree
and julia is pouting in her 13th outfit of the day
all our neighbors host T-day.  it was a busy street (usually there are no cars on the street)
we went to my moms, she made a nice dinner for us.  julia only ate jello and rolls.
look at that good plate of food!  julia!  you missed out!
 my view of Tday dinner.
 gpa and julia.
our family friend isaac came to visit from mississippi!  it was good to see him and his growing family (2 adopted, 1 one of their own and 1 one on the way!)

free zoo day november

for some reason we started the day at 4 am.  it was unpleasant.  we lessened the blow by watching cartoons.
then we went to the zoo with trina, jj and ll.  hooray for little friends!
anna and jj had a great time just goofing around together.  i don't think they looked at the animals too much.  but everything really is better with a friend.

julia and LL.  one week apart in age.  so cute together
anna and JJ were climbing on everything

ll and julia fell asleep before we were to the freeway
thanks for coming and driving trina!

tuesday of bryan's visit

on tuesday anna and elizabeth were starting to be finished plaiying with eachother non-stop.  (anna needed some alone time and E needed a nap!).  But they were sitll cute, they were playing primary.  they had set up the stuffed animals to be the students, and anna was singing while elizabeth was conducting.  these two are going to heaven without the rest of us.
anna loves babies, especially cute ones like amelia
 anna and uncle bry bry
 cute little elizabeth
 bry and julia
oh julia why dont you wear pants.
 crazy coo coos
i took 10 shots.  this is hte best one i got.

monday of bryans visit

so on monday bryan needed to go work on his car with dad.  breea stayed with me and the kids.  amy drove down from morgan.  we had a preschool party.
complete with preschool themed lunch - turkey pancakes.
and of course julia changed her outfit 12 times over the course of hte day.
 we played musical chairs.
 and Lets Play Music
julia really really really loves her aunt amy.
anna and E played outside for a good while.  they are having a party here.
oliver went out too.  julia refuses to play outside.
later on they were playing in anna's room.  when we went to check on them this is what we found.  oliver in a tutu pulled up to his armpits like a dress.
oh oliver!  we had a good laugh over this one.
that night grandma heiner came for fmaily night.  they all had a bath together.  they are still little enough for it to be ok.
then breea taught everyone about prayer.  notice olive and julia in the back.  they didn't want to listen.  they are both a little bit anti-family home evening these days.

mom put the girls to bed for us.  they love their grandmas!
