We went to the dino museum (utah field house) for their annual dinosaur egg hunt. In preparation I got a bunch (25, the library's limit) of books about dinosaurs for Anna and I to read the week before. We've been learning the dino names. In the line waiting to get in there was a large organe diplocus greeting the children. I was surprised that anna walked up to mrs. diplodocus all by herself and gave her a hug. she is above in the blue jacket and green pants.
Once inside we greeted the large utah raptor. anna wasn't scared a bit. richard and julia arent her because they went to buy some easter baskets. we ended up not seeing them at all until we got out of the museum. oops. i guess we were too busy looking at the raptor and we missed the instructions. we were supposed to wait in a line and then they let you in the museum 5 or 6 at a time and you run around and collect empty eggs. at the end you return those eggs for a dinky prize. since i didn't know that i went up stairs and wandered around the museum. anna collected empty eggs. i didn't know what for so i had to ask someone and they told me you turn them in at the end for a prize. it was still pretty lame, so we just took our time looking at the museum for free.

we played in the childrens play area for a good 15 minutes. it was nice to have it all to ourselves since the eggs were elsewhere.

sort of a really lame egg hunt, but cool museum! at home we made some dino died easter eggs to complete our week of dinosaurs.
