S I'm the family sitter, which is great! We watched my sisters kids all Friday and Saturday two weeks ago whole rich was working in Elko. It was a fun time! Gavin 8 amber 6 Evan 5 (almost in these pics Jane 23 mo. Anna 2 Julia 1. That's a lot of kids. So glad they aren't all mine.

Sept 2012 we decided to move

Nov 2012 I cleaned the house everyday to perfection for showings

Jan our house wouldn't sell due to lots of mold
Feb. we did repairs and waited
March we thought our close date was last week but it was actally yesterday!

After 7 months of waiting we are finally finished worrying about our house. Whew. What a relief!

I will often find julia in this spot in the kitchen, gazing lovingly at the backyard that may someday turn green (grass is still post-snow brown, see pic below).  She loves to stand at the window and look out and talk.  i love her.

we had a mermaid luncheon with chloe and remi in our backyard.  the girls dressed up in mermaid attire and we had under the sea shells and cheese.  julia was the last one to finish eating.  she sat at that table for a while watching the kids and eating her shells.  cutie.

the first time I watched chloe and remi, we had a tea party.  the girls dressed up in princess outfits and we had tea cakes and read mother goose.  they had a great time.  they also danced to balet music and loved it.

Rich's parents bought the girls matching easter dresses.  i got to help choose them.  fun.  I tried to get a pic together, but as you can see it was a no go for julia on sunday!!


 we sat by our upstairs neighbor at church sunday.  rich was out of town so it was nice to have another adult to help me!  Anyways, anna and zachary have a wonderful time together.  they are cuties.

 anna helped push zachary home (for maybe 20 steps).  then zachary and I ran the rest of the way while Cherie pushed lazy bones anna.  Julia was in the ergo carrier.  we ditched sun school because anna got a runny nose and shared with zach so they were too sick for nursery.  there was no way we were going to sit through the rest of church with all those kids, i mean really, whats the point?

after ditching church we picked up rich from the airport (he's been in denver for a week for work).  then we headed to my moms for a march bday dinner (cousins gavin and evan have march bdays).  I made a cake for julia (whole wheat lemon blueberry with custard) she picked all the blueberries off.  I took the pics and videos with the ipad and cant get the videos to upload.  maybe someday!

parleys canyon trail and babysitting cousins

I've been internet-less the past 2 weeks.  I've been phone-less the past week.  I guess it's time to get back to blogging.

there is a short trail by my house, its right at the mouth of the canyon.  it goes over I-215 then down into this gulley and up out to Tanner park (as seen in pic above and below).  Although its a bit hilly, the trail is packed dirt wide enough for the burley at the bottom, so it's better than a sidewalk for sure.

 anna is potty training.  we are on week 3.  she does pretty good.  so while we were on this run anna said she had to go.  we went to the park's potty and it was locked.  so, being the unconventional mom I am, I just had her squat by a tree.  she had to go pee pee and what were my options....sit in pee all the way home or pee pee on a tree.  you just cant make a 2 year old "hold it".  so she squatted and giggled about it  but didn't go.  and didn't go.  so i said you'll have to hold and she did until we got home.  unless she didn't really have to go anyways, in which case we exposed her buns for noth'n (there was no one at the park).

 julia walking in pants that are a bit too big.  goofy girl, she can go quiet far but is much faster at crawling, so she gets down and crawls if she wants to get somewhere fast.

 anna and I watch her cousins several times a week.  I say anna and I because anna plays with them and I just monitor and act as the manners patrol and sharing administrator.  Sometimes I also entertain and document.

We live right by my grandma in SLC.  Anna is named after her (anna elaine) so grandma really loves anna.  Although she doesn't remember richards name (she refers to him as whats his name) and calls julia him all the time....she loooves anna.  We go over every tuesday thursday and feed her and my grandpa lunch and anna reads them books.  This week we stayed a little longer to help them with a few things and anna got to make cookies with grandma.  She loved it.

 Julia wouldn't take her nap so i moved her into the sitting room and didn't realize i set her by the piano.  she serenaded us.

 grandma likes to give anna rides on the walker.  she wont look at the camera for some reason, i try not to argue and just take incognito pics while she isn't looking.

 auntie virginia in kearns invited us down for a dr. suess celebration.  anna is in the midst of potty training, so she got to do to dr. suess day in her panties.  actually in her cousin chloes panties since she pee peed hers twice while there.

 chloe wiped out in the front of the house and has a big blue bandaid.  you can see the thing 1 puppet they made and they are working on cat in the hat hats.

 how fun, auntie virginia is so nice to include us in all the fun things she does.

 we drove out to vernal for the weekend.  its a three hour drive.  the girls teased eachother the whole way down.  they like to see who can scream the loudest.  its a hoot.  it would deter anyone who doesn't have kids from having kids.  i forgot how beautiful the stars are.  we dont see much of them in portland (or salt lake!).  anna loves her grandma buhler!  they got some cute new coats.  look how cute and blue. they went to red canyon overlook?  i think thats what its called.  i stayed home because im not feeling well.  it was nice.  i took a nap and watched a movie.  thats the life i tell ya!
