saturday

We made some cheese roll things Joy sent us the recipe to.  We went to smiths and got free ice cream (for my bday).  we cleaned out the window tracks (since we are moving and want all of our deposit money back).
In the afternoon Cherie stopped by and surprised us.
Chloe and Andy stopped by too.  We got a package from uncle steven.  he is Julia feeling oh so pretty in her new dress.
look how delighted she is!  That night aunt amy made me brownies and took me and anna to the ballet.

last day of ballet

We are pretty much officially moving to Sandy in May.  Anna's dance class is on a break for the next week, then it will start back up the week after.  We are moving far enough away that it won't be worth the drive to come to ballet (esp not twice a week!).  So I decided we are done with Miss Sasha's class.  So sad.  If we can't find anything out there we might make the drive.  We can visit grandma while we are over here.  It's sad to leave, she's improved so much after just 8 classes!  And she loves it (while we are there....getting out the door is another story).  On the way home I asked if she wanted to keep doing ballet - she said "no, I'd like to do soccer"  So there we go.  Probably not worth the drive.
It was warmish today so the girls played in the water table while I did some cleaning and packing.  Ron's pretty particular about things, so Im making sure to do a good job cleaning up.
Julia is adorable (as always) in her new suit from grandma buhler.  cute color joyce!
This is Julia and I at ballet.
she loves to watch and copy.  I think this girl probably won't choose soccer over ballet if she has the choice.............

homeowners by June?

We are thinking of buying a house.  It's right by the Sandy library.  Seriously, we can walk there in less than 5 minutes.  3 miles from Richard's new office.  10 minutes from big cottonwood canyon.  walking distance from an elementary school, middle school and 3 parks.  Inspection is Saturday morning.  I really hate shopping for houses, so I hope it works out.

another birthday package!

for me!  My friend from Portland sent me some pics of the girls, hats and ginger (for making our favorite ginger cookies).  What a pleasant surprise that was!  An early birthday present, it doesn't get more thoughtful than that!  THANK YOU LORRI!
look how cute these hats are!  And in pretty spring colors!

My favorite is the one anna is wearing, her head looks like a giant easter egg!
 Julia.....
 is adorable.

birthday pacakge movie

oh yeah, I wanted to add that opening this package was like Christmas morning.  the girls were THRILLED.

a birthday package!

Julia's Aunt Joy sent us an awesome package for her birthday!  We bribed the kids to do all sorts of things before we would let them open this - so thanks for the 'getting ready for bed motivator' Joy!

Their favorite part was the books.  Julia really loves the animal book, but even more so, she loves the pics of aunt Joy!  We look at them almost everyday before nap time.

She is also crazy about cards and she loves to admire this one!  Isn't it fun how simple children are?
Sadly though, Julia is a little too opinionated for clothes.  She wont wear anything lately but the TUTU outfit and the princess outfit.  I conveniently lost both of those outfits today (they were getting REALLY nasty).  I hope that now she'll let me put her in the cute cute shirts and dress aunt Joy got her, because they ADORABLE.  Thank you joy!  When we get her in them we will take pics.  I guess if we want to buy something for Julia will like we have to consult uncle steven first (;  Afterall, Anna refers to him as the dressmaker!  Anna loves her dress and her eyes really pop out in them.  I'll get a pic soon.  THANK YOU again (:
